Energy Systems Past Projects

The company, founded in 1911, began its strong involvement with power generation in 1948 on the Bulimba Power Station in Brisbane. Since then we have been responsible for the balance of plant for 29 power station units amounting to over 9000 MW of generation capacity.

These units have been designed, fabricated constructed and commissioned in-house by the various divisions of Evans Deakin under the direction of Energy Systems.

Utilizing Downer Energy Systems facilities complemented by those facilities & capabilities of sister Downer-EDI Group Companies, We have undertaken a range of projects including:
